The People Partner position offers a salary of £33k, hybrid working (at least one day office based per week) This role can be based on either our clients Cardiff site or Swansea site. This role can be performed on either full-time hours - 35 hours per week or a minimum of 28 hours worked across a minimum of 4 days per week. This role also offers 29 days holiday, plus bank holidays, plus 2 concessionary days (FTE), flexible working and company pension.

This role provides the ideal opportunity if you are looking to take the next step in your career. In this exciting opportunity you will manage a small People Services Team (2 direct reports) to support delivery of a proactive and efficient generalist people focussed service. In this busy and varied role, you will manage a business partnership approach with individuals, teams, line managers and heads of service; and the role will provide you with great opportunities to develop your career and gain exposure in providing support, advice and guidance on all people related matters.

This role will also lead on implementing people initiatives and key people related projects focused on the development, engagement, and retention of our people as well as regulatory compliance. This role will suit someone with Human Resources and people related project experience who will enjoy the opportunity to develop a business partnership approach across the charity along with the following essential criteria:

- Strong HR generalist background
- Strong knowledge and experience of employee relations process and ability to provide legally sound advice and guidance to managers and employees on people matters and HR policy
- Knowledge and experience of employee life cycle, L&D and workforce planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT literate with Excel and HR databases
- Able to deal sensitively with people and resolve problems including conflicts
- Able to analyse data and statistical information and use it to develop, monitor and improve services.
- Coaching and Mentoring skills.
- Happy to travel at least twice a year to other sites
