**Altro** are recruiting for a **Manufacturing (Value Added Services) Team Leader** to join our Operations team based in **Letchworth** **Garden** **City**. This role will be working on a rotating double day shift, Monday to Friday.

**What will you be doing?**

The **VAS Team Leader** will be responsible for the ongoing development and coaching of up to 8 Technicians on each shift. Conducting regular one to one’s with team members, you will develop people plans to enable individuals to realise their full potential.

You will ensure Health and Safety is always of the highest priority and environmental objectives are fulfilled including risk/COSHH assessments, SOP and audits.

As well as reviewing all processes within Value added Services to ensure that efficiency levels are achieved/ exceeded, you will monitor and improve all costs and budgets.

**What are we looking for?**

Proven experience in managing and developing people within a manufacturing environment. Financial astute and the ability to identify the relevance/links to operational performance. IOSH health and safety qualified with strong communication and influencing skills at all levels. Previous experience of working closely with a Planning department would be highly advantageous.
