**Overview**

The role of HR Operations Partner oversees all the administrative workings of the HR department, including management of the day-to-day administrative tasks, internal HR operations and ensuring that procedures are straightforward. This role is key to the smooth running of the overall business and critical to supporting ambitions for a great people experience for our teams wherever there are employees. The role also includes responsibility for supporting the payroll and benefits in Canada, UK and the US.

Job Title: HR Operations Partner UK based.

Working arrangements: Mainly remote with requirement to travel to the Leeds/London offices from time to time.

**Job Type**: Full time fixed term contract for minimum of 12 months for maternity cover.

Contracted Hours: 9am to 5.30pm.

Contracted Days: Monday to Friday

**Salary**: Circa Pounds 45,000 to 50,000

**Areas of Responsibility & Accountability**:

- Analyse global workforce trends and key metrics as required for HR team and wider business.
- Collaborate with business managers on recruitment to identify and attract top talent.
- Conduct compensation and benchmarking activities for talent attraction and retention.
- Compilation of HR policies and procedures as required by the business.
- Partner with other HR colleagues to develop and implement best practices and HR programs that support the organization’s goals.
- Monitor, maintain and update internal HR systems, processes, and databases.
- As the Bamboo (HRIS) Super-user, actively maintain Global HR personnel database, ensuring all personnel data is up-to-date and accurate in line with the Data Protection Regulations as appropriate.
- Support the HR Team to produce monthly HR data as well as ad hoc reports as and when required.
- Work with HR to support the review and renewal of benefits for employees in the various jurisdictions.
- Ensure global generic induction programme is maintained and appropriate for use.
- Prepare and issue all standard HR documentation for new and existing employees where appropriate.
- Co-ordinates, facilitates and supports the payroll and benefits in Canada, UK and the US and includes liaison with the internal payroll team and external payroll and benefit providers.
- Manage the operational components of the global compensation processes including salary reviews and bonus schemes.
- The main contact for historic and current People data reports, required by different stakeholders within the business.
- Involvement in support internal and external auditors.

**Experience & Qualifications**:
Must have:

- Experience of working in HR Operations at a management level for a minimum of 2 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
- Significant experience of working with a range of HR platforms and systems, in particular HRIS.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and provide insights and recommendations.
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent planning, organisation, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
- Team player but comfortable to work on your own.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.

Desirable but not essential:

- CIPD qualified or holder of relevant degree.
- Experience or an interest in employee benefits.
- Experience or an interest in supporting payroll.
- Experience or an interest in working across multi-jurisdictions.
- UK employment law knowledge.
