This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to use their excellent organisational and communication skills in a key administration/project support role within the Corporate Operations Team.

You will be an advanced user of Microsoft Office Packages and will have proven experience of effectively supporting meetings, including in collating and circulating agenda and papers for meetings and producing minutes and action logs.

To provide comprehensive professional administrative and project support to the Associate Director of Operations for Cancer, to the Associate Medical Director for Cancer and to the Assistant Director of Business Intelligence and Information.

The post will require regular contact with senior clinical staff, managers and other administrators from across the Trust and also with external organisations. The role requires excellent communication skills with high levels of confidentiality.

The post holder will also provide administrative support to the UHL Cancer Board.

- To deliver a responsive and efficient administrative and project support service to Associate Director of Operations for Cancer, to the Associate Medical Director for Cancer and to the Assistant Director of Business Intelligence and Information ensuring deadlines are achieved and that the flow of work is prioritised.
- To perform secretarial duties as required including the effective management of diaries, arranging meetings, taking minutes/noting actions and collating, issuing meeting papers and agenda. Effectively following up on timely action updates.
- To provide high quality administrative support to the UHL Cancer Board.
- To ensure records of all meetings and associated project information are effectively stored and accessible to the team as required.
- To co-ordinate the UHL Long Service awards across the Corporate Operations Team.
- To support the ordering of supplies and services for the team when other members of the Administrative Team are on leave, including raising requisitions and for travel arrangements.
- To work as a key part of the Corporate Operation Administrative Team, working alongside the Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer and the other Project Support Officer.
- To provide input into improvements and innovations to administrative processes to maximise the efficiency of the team.
- To use Microsoft word packages to produce and format complex documents.
- To use Power Point IT packages to create and edit presentations.
