Experienced Dog Groomer

**PART TIME/FULL TIME EXPERIENCED DOG GROOMER REQUIRED**

We are looking for a reliable experienced dog groomer to join our small team working in a small busy and friendly, fully equipped salon based in the lovely town of Todmorden. 20/30 minutes from Halifax, Rochdale and Burnley.

**IDEAL CANDIDATE**

*Must have a minimum 2 years professional grooming experience and preferably hold a grooming qualification and be able to groom to a very high standard.

*Must have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing.

*Must be able to work to a high standard with good attention to detail

*Be able to work alone and manage Bathers/Dryers.

*Must be reliable and trust worthy
must be confident and have a friendly manner at all times

JOB ROLE

*Arrange and update work Diary for appointments, arrange appointments with customers.

*Provide help and advice to customers when choosing styles.

*Bathing, drying and styling to the highest standard.

*Grooming and handling all different types of dogs with different temperaments in a calm effective manner

*Keep salon tidy and clean throughout the day with a big clean up after each day.

*Must treat all dogs as if they are your own work the best care at all times

*Take the best of care of all salon equipment and treat it with respect and care.

APPLICATION
*Portfolio of work to be sent a covering letter containing before and after pics of different breed types
*1 reference if possible from previous work place and or trainer

Working days will be 5 days a week and 2 Saturdays a month.

Part time hours will also be considered.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
