Experienced Dog Groomer

**FULL TIME OR PART TIME EXPERIENCED DOG GROOMER REQUIRED**

We are looking for a reliable experienced dog groomer to join our small team working in a busy, fully equipped salon based in the lovely town of Todmorden. 20/30 minutes from Halifax, Rochdale and Burnley and Manchester.

**IDEAL CANDIDATE**

*Have a minimum two years professional grooming experience and preferably hold a grooming qualification

*Must be able to work to a high standard with good attention to detail.

*Must be confident grooming and handling all different types of dogs with different temperaments in a calm effective manner.

*Must have excellent communication and Customer service skills.

*Be confident in working alone and managing a Salon when required.

*Must be reliable and trust worthy
must be confident and have a friendly manner at all times

**JOB ROLE**

*Bathing, drying and styling to Breed standard

*Arranging appointments with customers, providing help and advice when choosing styles.

*Managing the Salon and Bathers/Dryers.
- Ensuring grooms are done in a timely manner and that the diary is kept up to date.

*Arranging working hours for yourself and other staff.

*Keep salon tidy and clean throughout the day with a big clean up after each day

*Take the best of care of all salon equipment and treat it with respect.

APPLICATION
*Portfolio of work to be sent a covering letter containing before and after pics of different breed types
*1 reference if possible from previous work place and or trainer

Working days will be 5 days a week inc 2 Saturdays a month. Hours can be flexible.

Part Time hours can be available

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
