Due to growth and further development, we are excited to welcome new and experienced **Expert Witness** professionals to our network. We are looking for the following professionals to build **our Liability / Breach of Duty** team:

- **Midwives**:

- **Health Visitors**:

- **Emergency Medicine Nurses/Practitioners**:

- **Practice Nurses**

We are particularly interested in professionals who have professional regulation and/or NMC committee experience**.**

**Responsibilities**:

- As a Liability Expert Witness, you will have a unique opportunity to use your specialist experience to assist Courts and legal professionals in liability and compensation decisions in serious clinical negligence cases.
- You will be required to evaluate documentation and prepare comprehensive, professional reports regarding the standard(s) of care of each case. You will use the appropriate legal tests and relevant professional, national and local guidelines to support your opinion.
- To follow through the case from your instruction to case settlement including: timely review of new evidence and documentation, responding to queries from legal professionals, attending case conferences with barristers, participating in experts’ meetings, and writing statements as well as providing oral evidence in Court if required.
