**The Role**:
We are looking for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our team at the Kingsteignton Depot.

The duties of the role include: Assisting the Transport Manager in their duties to co-ordinate and manage the drivers' workloads; including start times, routes, delivery times, customer needs and product awareness.

Regular checks of the drivers' trips through our tracking system to monitor progress.

Liaise with other departments in the business regarding deliveries to ensure a first class service.

Support the management team in delivering best practice regarding food safety and handling, ensuring that all team members understand the importance of being safe in the workplace.

Contribute to a clear operational plan, always bearing in mind the bigger picture and the customer whose standards and expectations need to be met, whilst continually improving cost efficiency.

An experienced professional that really understands distribution with a proven track record of delivering what's needed to ensure safe and effective growth of the company. Intensively motivated with experience in a high pressure environment with a positive attitude.

**Qualifications Needed**:
Must have a full, clean driver's license Ability to train Experience in a similar role
