**Education / Qualifications**: PhD in Electronics & Electrical Engineering A certain level of experience is necessaryv in fabricating and characterisation of GaN devices Expert at operating Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology deposition and etch systems Significant hands-on experience using, ICP and RIE etch systems an advantage Experience with photolithography, and E-beam evaporation

**Professional Skills/ Abilities**: Operation of an Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology cluster system as part of a GaN device fabrication process. Use of photolithography, E-beam evaporation and plasma etch tools. Expert at the operation of current-voltage and capacitance-voltage measurement tools. Mask design for device fabrication using Ledit or a similar package. Nanotechnology measuring skills (SEM, Ellipsometry, AFM, etch depths / profiles). Previous experience in developing Atomic Scale Processing technologies including ALD and ALE. Demonstrate an understanding of how changes to the plasma process affect device performance. Experience of working in a Consortium funded project, ideally related to GaN. Previously presented at relevant conferences on work related to semiconductor devices along with co-authoring several recently published papers. Exposure to using software tools such as Origin Pro and MATLAB. Familiar with project management tools and techniques.
