We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Family Paralegal to join our client in Leeds. As a Family Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting our family law clients in handling a wide range of family-related legal matters. Your responsibilities will include assisting with case preparation, client management, legal research, and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the family law department.

**Requirements**:

- Provide comprehensive legal support to family law solicitors in all aspects of case management and preparation.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including divorce petitions, financial disclosure forms, child custody agreements, and other relevant family law documents.
- Conduct legal research on family law issues, including statutes, regulations, and case precedents, to support case strategy and argumentation.
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information and details necessary for case preparation and documentation.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately labelled, indexed, and readily accessible.
- Coordinate and schedule client meetings, court appearances, and other case-related activities.
- Assist with the preparation of trial bundles, exhibits, and other relevant materials required for court hearings.
- Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other relevant parties to obtain and provide necessary information, documents, and updates.
- Maintain effective and timely communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and responding to inquiries.
- Assist attorneys in the preparation and attendance of hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
- Assist in billing and invoicing processes, including time recording, preparing invoices, and tracking payment status.

- Familiarity with courtroom procedures and experience attending hearings or trials is desirable.
