Carrier is currently recruiting for an experienced, motivated, and dynamic **Service Operations Director, UKI & Nordics** to drive and lead the transformation and growth of the Carrier HVAC Service businesses in both the UK and in the Nordics (i.e. Sweden & Finland).

**What will you be doing?**

The Service Operations Director will be responsible for managing the operational performance of service across the Northern Europe region including maximizing revenue, increasing profitability, and managing expenditures and staffing costs.

The role reports into the Managing Director for the UK and Nordics and will work closely with both Service sales and Service operations European functional leaders. The role will be based in the UK, or Sweden and will typically require 30% to 40% travel.
- Responsible for the overall execution and profitability in the service business to achieve or exceed Plan (revenue, gross margin, overheads, EBIT, cashflow etc.)
- Co-ownership with the UK and Nordics MD for the service area budget/targets, revenue and operational targets, monthly forecasting, and team performance to achieve and execute rapid growth.
- Coordinates the daily execution of all service operations across the area.
- Supports the local Service Sales leader accelerate orders and revenue growth across the area.
- Ensures a strong focus on implementing a new service business model, utilizing connected and digital services
- Works with the Service operations function to ensure the overall delivery and quality of service operations is aligned and standardized to functional requirements.
- Delivery of year-on-year productivity improvements in field and back-office operations
- Coordinates the achievement of operations initiatives, targets, and key performance indicators.
- Oversees hiring, retention, and talent development programs across the area

**What we’re looking for**:

- Proven experience and record of success in a similar position or other Senior Managerial position.
- Extensive experience of working in a service or maintenance based, technology/equipment industry.
- Ideally have strong knowledge of delivering HVAC building services in a commercial environment.
- Experience in the processes, practices, and procedures of service organization within a large corporation
- Ability to lead, coach and manage people in a large service organization.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate the team
- Able to demonstrates good analytical skills and diagnostic capability
