Windows Measurer

We have an opening in our Design Centre, at Ipswich, for a Window Measurer and Estimator. This is a part-time position, working three days per week. Some flexibility is required as days are changeable according to customer availability and demand. You will be expected to work three Saturdays a month, but there will be no Sunday working.

**Skills**:

- Great customer service skills.
- Previous experience in measuring and estimating for window treatments.
- The ability to consult with customers to assist with their choices of soft furnishings, advising on everything from colours and materials to alternative finishes and specialised systems.
- The ability to return accurate and legible information.
- A good knowledge and understanding of bespoke curtains, window shutters and blinds and the many matching accessories available to complete the look.
- A full driving license as you will be required to conduct home visits.

**Duties**:

- Attending customer home visits to measure and estimate for window treatments.
- Preparing accurate and legible quotations, using the company’s sales programme. Full training will be given on our company systems and procedures.
- Securing orders and maximising add-on sales
- Giving the highest level of customer service throughout the sales and measuring process.
