**Key Accountabilities**
- Keep the centre in excellent working order.
- Clean light fittings and test lighting systems weekly replacing parts as needed.
- Clear blockages and remove foreign matter from sinks, toilets, drains, kitchen grease traps. Clean spillages as required.
- Ensure gullies and drains are kept free from debris and that the centre and grounds are litter free.
- Ensure clear and safe pedestrian access to the Centre particularly in adverse weather conditions (e.g. clearing snow, gritting etc.)
- Dispose of waste materials in a safe, hygienic manner ensuring that it is available for collection as required.
- Painting and Decorating - as required
- Joinery - first line maintenance of fixtures and fittings, examples: tightening screws on window hinges, maintenance on door handles, minor repairs as a temporary measure after break-ins, vandalism etc.
- Monitor stock levels of consumable items such as fuel, grit, light, bulbs/tubes and replenish supplies as needed.
- Report emergencies in the case of faults with gas, electric and water supply.
- Grass cutting and grounds maintenance.
- Cleaning of carpets and furniture.
- Clean the internal face of external windows and other internal glass.
- Comply with the requirements of Health and Safety, other relevant legislation, Centre policies, carry out weekly fire alarm tests and assist with evacuation procedures.

**Key Knowledge and Experience Required**
- Experience of providing maintenance services in a similar customer facing environment.
- Demonstrate good customer service at all times.
- Experience of working within strict schedules of work and to tight deadlines.
