Job Title: HR Consultant
Location: London Borough of Newham, UK
**Salary**: £26.22 per hour
Job:
We are looking for a competent HR Consultant to join our team and implement effective Human Resources strategies in our London office. Your main role will be providing a broad range of HR services and solutions that have a direct impact on the organisation's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.
2. Provide professional HR guidance and support to employees with emphasis on company policies, procedures and employment laws.
3. Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with management to develop solutions, programs and policies.
4. Manage and solve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
5. Assist to develop, deliver, and facilitate training sessions on various HR topics such as management training, policy implementation/changes, etc.
6. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
7. Guide the HR aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate activities.
Key Experience:
1. Proven work experience as an HR Consultant or similar role.
2. Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices in the UK.
3. Excellent people management skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
4. Experience handling HR issues related to employee relations, staffing, compensation, compliance, and organisational development.
5. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; postgraduate degree in HR or HR certification will be a plus.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
