As a Reservations Agent you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our restaurant and delivering unparalleled customer service to our valued guests.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Reservations:

- Adhere to our reservations system and ensure accurate record-keeping of bookings and deposits.
- Strategically manage table allocations to maximize restaurant capacity while ensuring an optimal guest experience.

2. Guest Relations:

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest enquiries, special requests, and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Anticipate guest’s needs and preferences to enhance their dining experience.

3. Communication:

- Collaborate with management team and front of house staff to ensure smooth service flow and.
- Communicate effectively with the front of house and management team regarding reservations or guest’s special requests, large group booking requests, special occasions, as well as guest’s feedback of their visit and complaints.
- Communicate on changes and updates concerning the restaurant, such as opening times, menu changes, etc.
- Demonstrate an interest in the concept of the restaurant, such as menu, offers, fire shows, etc.
- Communicate politely, professionally and effectively with the guest over the phone and offer an outstanding level of customer service, as well as promoting items or specific ongoing promotions whenever the opportunity arises.
- Liaise with the Reservations Manager to discuss business performance and operations.

4. Administrative tasks:

- Keep track of deposits taken, respond and keep track of reviews by filling out the reviews report daily and sending on a weekly basis.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organisation in the reservations office.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a similar hospitality or customer service focused role, preferably one dealing with customers/guests over the phone.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues and the management team.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to details, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced busy environment.
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in reservation management software (eg: Resdiary, Open Table, Collins, etc).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- A passion for hospitality, an outgoing, friendly personality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to each of our guests.
