- Consistently grown for the last 5 years with 40 employees
- 96% retention with existing customers that has led to repeat business.

As a business development manager, you will be targeting new business opportunities. You will be selling a service and spending a maximum of 1 -2 days in the office and 3- 4 days in the field.
This role is new and would support the growth of the business and forecast sales. The business is reacting to sales inquiries and as a proactive salesperson, you would enable them to meet the growth they now require.

**Key Duties include.**
- Researching new markets and target customers
- Meeting new customers face to face.
- Pitching the service, the business has to generate interest.
- Working with the Director on Tender opportunities.
- Prospect for future projects
- Regular follow-up site visits of all clients
- Provide adequate market (competitors), product, prices, technical and services information.
- Travel will be a 90-mile radius of Scunthorpe.

**Experience required**
- Service or maintenace Sales experience would be a distinct advantage
- Experience with market trends and developments; good business acumen
- Good organizational skills and eager to learn
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset; intellectually agile and flexible,
- Results and goals oriented,
- Willing to travel frequently.
