If your answer is yes and you enjoy fundraising, we want to hear from you RSPCA Buckinghamshire South have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Fundraising and Education Officer. This is a new role aimed at increasing levels of engagement, interest and financial support from supporters such as individuals, local companies, Trusts and Foundations, and from community events. You will cultivate new leads that will increase income from these sources, resulting in a more sustainable mix of income. The Fundraising and Education Officer will also lead on our education work to raise awareness of our cause.

We are a relatively small charity which relies onits supporters to survive in the increasingly competitive third sector, and in this role you will play a key part in developing local stakeholder support through fundraising activities and by raising awareness on animal welfare and responsible pet ownership. We are looking for someone who can confidently build and maintain relationships with people at all levels as you will be expected to build strategic education and fundraising local partnerships to diversify our income streams through financial donations and sponsorship opportunities.

You will also work closely with the Regional Retail Manager and Operations Manager to maximise the impact of our supporter engagement and to ensure that the right message is being displayed in our shops and to potential adopters. In addition, you will also work closely with them to to introduce new fundraising and education systems and processes, which support the efficiency, operability, and profitability of the organisation, whilst delivering on our charitable mission and vision.

Reporting to the Regional Branch Manager, you will be a well organised, outgoing, enthusiastic and creative individual who is committed to the aims of the RSPCA. The role is home based with regular travel to local community events, schools and donor meetings within South Buckinghamshire.
