**Job Summary**:
Square Enix has invested in an exciting HR transformation programme to unlock performance in our people through excellent HR practices aligned to better deliver our business goals. In support of this and the Workday implementation, a new role of HR information system specialist has to be introduced to overview the HRIS governance.

In this stand-alone role you will oversee, mature and grow the Governance and Management of our HRIS. Working closely with the country HR Leads and teams across our global footprint you will be accountable for the development and evolution of enhancements to the efficacy and value of our Workday investment enabling our HR Transformation. This role will initially support c. 444 employees across 2 time zones (UK, France and Germany).

You should be passionate about HR service delivery and curious to understand how our business functions so you can provide appropriate advice and be excellent at stakeholder management. You will have significant experience with assessing and supporting Workday in a production environment and be comfortable managing operational challenges to ensure Workday supports our HR goals.

**Please note**:
This role is based in the HR team at Square Enix London but supports our global Workday deployment for multiple Square Enix group entities.

This role will ideally suit an individual able to invoice on an hourly basis for time worked. Approximate anticipated workload is up to 16 hours per week. There is a high degree of flexibility in completing the assigned work, however this will generally be within UK office hours and by prior mutual agreement.

Hybrid and remote work available for this position.

**Key Deliverables**:
**Strategic**
- Road map for development and evolution in production capability
- Management of operational and capital budgets
- Lead on governance and support strategy evolution
- Drive impact and success of Workday through measurement and distribution of KPI's and reports
- Project Manage change and enhancement requests
- Champion Workday internally

**Operational**
- Oversee Workday daily operations
- Prioritization of projects by business needs
- Development of Workday skills within HR Teams
- Preliminary changes testing
- User training and documentation
- Provide first and second line support for Workday tickets
- Collaborate with IT and Data Protection teams to ensure Workday meets internal requirements for Data retention and privacy
- Ensure compliance with local laws
- Develop custom reports / dashboards
- Ensure Workday is leveraged fully as source of truth for other internal tools
- Maintain external vendor relationships (AMS, Deployment partners, integration partner etc)

**Key Stakeholders**:
Country HR Leads, HR teams across all locations, department heads, Finance Directors, DPO, IT Project Management, Workday, external vendors, employees

**Knowledge & Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Hands on experienced implementing, configuring, or supporting Workday
- Experience with Workday Custom Reporting, Calculated Fields, Business Processes, and Security.
- Experienced at gathering requirements and configuring those requirements in Workday.
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Agile in prioritising / adjusting to changing priorities and the unexpected, focus on value add
- Service driven ethic
- Experience in adapting communication style to audience
- Experience documenting requirements and process

**Desirable**:

- Experience providing HRIS support in technology, gaming or media industries
- HR / Learning / Business related Degree / Diploma
- Workday Pro Certified in HCM and Security
