- Manage and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure all billing information complies with financial regulations and procedures
- Monitor incoming payments and ensure all accounts are updated
- Address and resolve any billing disputes or issues
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
- Collaborate with other members of the accounting and finance team to achieve department goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful Band 4 Billing Administrator should have:
- A solid foundation in accounting and finance principles
- Previous experience in a similar NHS role
- Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and an aptitude for numbers
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion
