Staff365 are looking for a Fee Earner/Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 Years PQE who is confident in working without supervision and has legal aid experience.

**Location**: Bradford - the role is office based and there will be a requirement to attend court. Usually Bradford, which is ten minutes away from the office and occasionally Leeds, Huddersfield or Skipton.

**Hours**: Full time

**Salary**: 28k to 35k DOE

The caseload will be predominantly legally aided and is made up of relationship breakdown, domestic violence, children dispute, cohabitation and financial settlement matters with also quite a number of care cases so public family law knowledge would be advantageous.

Fee Earner Person specification - Skills, knowledge and experience required:
Experience of attending on clients

Experience of briefing Counsel

Experience of attending conferences with Counsel

Experience of drawing up bills

Experience in Legal Aid

**Fee Earner Practical skills**:
Interviewing skills

Telephone skills

Time management skills

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English

Ability to prioritise own workload

Ability to work as part of a team

**Fee Earner Job purpose**:
To run own caseload

To assist other senior partner with her cases

To contribute to the effective operation of the firm

**Fee Earner General responsibilities**:
Manage own caseload

Maintain a watching brief over the other fee earners’ files when they are on holiday, sick, etc.

Ensure that strict diary dates are observed

Meet relevant quality and professional standards

**Fee Earner Tasks**:
General administrative tasks in relation to individual file management

Visiting clients, taking instructions

Writing letters

Briefing Counsel (where necessary)

Giving instructions to experts

Advocacy

Billing

Other tasks as requested
