**Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our WFS London Gatwick team as an Pets on Jets Checker.
The Pet checker objectives are to ensure we are engaging with our customers, understanding their requirements and meeting all the deadlines. The person must have effective communication skills and be able to perform all tasks from early booking to actual arrival.
**Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:

- Processing of animals under the Pets Passport Scheme ensuring adherence to DEFRA/APHA and Customs requirements.
- X-ray screening of AVI.
- Liaise with our customer airlines, their service providers and their customers/GSA/owners.
- Resolving service issues for our customers.
- Process shipments through our in-house Computer system.
- Dealing with owners in the event of a non-compliant arrival / mortality.

- General Air Cargo knowledge (desirable but not essential).
