**About us**

Brown family in Redcar are still looking for a kind compassionate female carer to be part of an 8 person team to provide the best quality of care and attention to our daughter whom has complex needs and requires 24 hour care. This post will best suit a local person who can drive and preferably has their own vehicle to make it easier/safer to cover our shifts. We have two to one for all moving and handling, medication and training is thorough and ongoing. This is a wonderful opportunity to work one to one with a very responsive and happy client and her lovely team. It includes help with activities and all personal care needs daily living, peg feeding, safe administration of medication light housekeeping, and transportation to Church outings and shopping. The ideal carer will work as part of a supportive team and also be happy to entertain our daughter independently. Training is provided by professionals as appropriate, family and current qualified carers.

As the employer I am fair and value your own family time off. Each carer works a 29 hr contract to include one split shift 7.15 am-1.15 pm (D) and (B) 5.15 pm-9.15 pm.one late shift (L)12.30 pm-7.30 and one (N) night shift You wont be asked or expected to work an N shift until you are both competent and confident.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dusting.
Provide transportation to Church medical appointments or errands.
Monitor her health and administer medications on a two to one basis as prescribed by the doctor. Assist with physical therapy exercises as prescribed and trained by the physiotherapist Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting on a two to one basis.
Assist with feeding and cleaning up.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £10.60-£11.50 per hour
