Orthene Chemicals Ltd is the largest and most established private label brake fluid manufacturer globally. We formulate, blend, bottle, label, pack and ship to leading brake parts manufacturers, large oil and lubricant brands and major petroleum companies worldwide operating from our own bespoke site in Harrow.

Orthene is currently going through an exciting transformation with the launch of our own racing brake fluid alongside the continuous growth of our existing private label business. **The Role**

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Support Coordinator to join the team working closely with the Logistics & Transport Manager to ensure that our warehouse and logistics function is streamlined and effective. You will be the main point of contact for our logistics with regard to incoming raw materials and finished product delivery with suppliers, customers and 3 PLs. You will be accountable to the Logistics Planning Manager for the effective management of the logistics operations including schedules and reporting. This is a high pressure role and is a critical component in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the supply chain.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Ensure containers and road trucks for all customers are organised for delivery on time always mindful of the OTIF key performance indicator..
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements to ensure the business is compliant and due diligent at all times.
- Submission of regular reporting to key stakeholders
- Ensure the 5S continuous improvement methodology and Quality KPIs are implemented in the day to day Logistics and Warehouse Operation.
- Monitor and escalate issues (internal or external) with feedback from suppliers and customers on challenges and opportunities.
- Delivering high levels of customer service internally and externally.
- Completing in-house reports to provide up to date data from system (Winman) on stock, volumes etc.
- Deputise for Logistics Planning Manager when on leave from the business.
- Collaborate with Planning and Production to deliver world class OTIF. Scheduling safe inbound and outbound deliveries while liasing with suppliers and customers.
- Route monitoring and planning of vehicle movements for streamlined site utilisation.
- Completion of all associated paperwork to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Responsible for the smooth running of a busy operational warehouses in line with Management instruction.
- Completing in-house reports to provide data from systems (stock, volumes etc) for management meetings.
- First point of contact for deliveries if any issues occur for resolution.
- First point of contact for customers for scheduling requirements.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Previous experience as a logistics coordinator
- Proficient in logistics software such as ERP systems and MS Office suite
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities
- Passionate and self-motivated with a positive can do attitude
- Effective communication skills both verbally and written
- Ability to build rapport with external suppliers and customers as well as form, maintain and enhance strong relationships internally
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and manage multiple processes
- Problem solver
