It is an exciting time for all of the schools in the FY8 postcode area. A local charitable organisation, The Lytham Schools Foundation Trust, is providing generous funding to schools in Lytham St Anne’s in their endeavour to support children and families in a coordinated approach.
This collective approach has rarely been seen and the proposed results could change many lives for the better. We are looking for a Family Link Worker to join our organisation to support children and families across the cluster, and to ensure better outcomes for all.
Family Link Workers will be employed by The Coastal Collective CIO to support children and families in the 9 primary schools and across the FY8 postcode area.
The post holder will work as part of a team of three Family Link Workers to plan, deliver and evaluate a range of group programmes and individualised support. Group sessions will be delivered in community settings across Lytham St Anne’s and in partnership with schools.
The post holder will work with children and families to remove barriers, support vulnerabilities, and meet additional needs. The post holder will build positive relationships with parents and children with an emphasis on mutual trust and respect. Information and support provided through the group sessions will increase parents’ capacity to improve the welfare of their children and will improve children’s resilience. Support will help parents to make informed decisions for their families, enabling children to reach their potential. This will lead to healthier, safer communities**Reference**: MTC207
