As the **Mechanical Engineer** you will maintain equipment and facilities, to a high standard of safety and efficiency and to fully participate in the execution and planning of the annual winter maintenance and certification programme, includingall associated record keeping as demanded by HSE guidance notes and statutory requirements.
- To work as an operational Engineer carrying out PPM, ad hoc maintenance & ride start up tasks.
- To carry a radio to enable communication between colleagues and customer department representatives as appropriate.
- To develop professional and considerate relationships with both internal customer departments and external suppliers and consultants.
- To ensure a safe working environment/safe working practises are adopted at all times and any potential health & safety hazards are reported to the department management team, immediately for appropriate corrective action.
- To complete work related risk assessments and method statements.
- To ensure written documentation relating to pre-opening checks and maintenance works are accurate to reflect changes in procedure.
- To undertake additional responsibility as directed by the department management team following appropriate instruction/training (i.e. first aider, project team leader etc).
