BioteCH4 own and operate a group of anaerobic digestion facilities across the UK. We also provide biological support, emergency response and feedstock supply to other operators within the industry. Our industry expertise means we not only have the knowledge and experience to deal with all the food waste the UK produces. We also have the capacity to handle whatever quantity you need us to, from the majority of sectors across each of our plants. In 2022 BioteCH4 handled 557,000 tonnes of waste, applied 347,229 tonnes of digestate to land, and generated 280,000 MWh of energy.

**Changing Waste** is an industrial processor of waste located in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is designed to handle a wide range of waste feedstocks. Through a variety of different processes that utilise the waste as a raw material to create a blend for anaerobic digestion, which in turn is used to generate electricity and gas that is 100% renewable and exported to the national grid.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Weighbridge Administrator to join a great team of people and make a difference within a supportive and values-led Organisation. This is a fixed term contract up to 12 months duration for maternity cover.

**Overall Purpose of the role**:
The main responsibility of this job role is to manage the weighbridge transactions in and out of the Changing Waste site and support the Commercial Administrator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Directing traffic coming onto site and operating weighbridge, recording all vehicles entering/leaving the site
- Recording of weights and waste types by vehicle, completing appropriate documentation and collecting driver signatures and updating internal database accordingly
- Cross checking the waste deliveries to and from site by checking off against schedule organised by Commercial Manager
- Maintaining the weighbridge and general area of the weighbridge including ensuring is clean, tidy and hazard free
- Adhere to licensing guidelines and collate monthly data by waste type and by customer as part of management information and for environmental returns
- Assisting with general administration duties and customer service, answering the telephone and directing calls as appropriate
- Answer adhoc driver queries when visiting site as to process and procedure
- Follow company procedures

Good working knowledge of Excel is required.

Working knowledge of SAP/WR1 systems would be an advantage as would experience in the waste/AD industry but full training will be given.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm

**Salary**: £23.000 per annum, paid monthly
