Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation (MFCF) is the Club’s independent charity of MFC established in 1996 by Club Chairperson, Steve Gibson. The Foundation uses the power of the MFC brand to engage with the community to provide opportunities for disadvantaged young people and adults to maximise their potential to achieve.

Working closely with the Social Inclusion Manager, you will coordinate the You’ve Got This funded, Warm Spaces Support programme and MFC Foundation Dementia Programme. You will be responsible for leading on the coordination and delivery of the programmes, monitoring and reporting towards KPIs and outcomes and managing a team of staff to deliver each of the programmes. In addition, the role will also have occasional front-line delivery responsibilities and include engaging with key stakeholders.

**DUTIES**
- Coordinate and manage the delivery of the above programmes to the highest standard.
- Build strong relationships with a range of partners, including being involved in local steering groups.
- Work with the Social Inclusion Manager to identify and support delivery staff to deliver sessions where necessary. Including potential line management of Project Workers and Leads if required.
- Manage overall programme budgets, working with the Social Inclusion Manager and Operations Manager to secure grants to develop a sustainable programme.
- Promote an inclusive approach to engagement, providing opportunities for all people who need the support to engage including liaising with the various Foundation equality, diversity and inclusion leads.
- Undertake appropriate administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the programmes.
- Ensure all programme data collection, monitoring and evaluation is being undertaken within deadlines and to a high standard.

**CANDIDATES MUST HAVE**:

- Experience of engaging with disadvantaged people and planning and delivering sessions within a community setting.
- Experience in delivering educational workshops and sports/physical activity provision.
- The ability to form strong and appropriate relationships, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Planning and organising skills to support high quality interventions and activities.
- An understanding of social inclusion, safeguarding and the issues facing people from disadvantaged communities and be able to adapt sessions and conduct conversations accordingly.
- Experience in project management, managing budgets and people management.
- Experience working in the voluntary, community, education and/or sport sector.
- An understanding of how to measure impact, both qualitatively and quantitatively and to be able to work towards achieving set KPIs and outcomes.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and possess a valid driving licence with access to own transport since travel within the Tees Valley may be required from time to time. Supporting match days will also be required.
