The marcomms team are responsible for finding creative ways to engage with, grow and promote Salford Red Devils products and partners to our fan base and beyond. To achieve this goal, the team continuously tests new ideas and learns from the outcomes. It refines our approaches and always seeks to try something new through creativity and collaboration across the team.

The team is resourceful, engaged, driven and supportive of one another to achieve its goals and to raise the profile of Salford Red Devils to the fans, and our standing amongst our peers.

Your focus will be to support the marketing function primarily by capturing, editing and publishing high quality video content. This content will vary in media type and will be distributed across multiple channels. The role will require the post holder to work well and quickly under pressure and have the confidence to direct and host interviews and other types of video content during filming.

The post holder will provide wider support to the marketing team assisting with the content output across the website, social media and external media. This content output will include the core skills of video capture and editing but will also include elements of graphic design and composing social media posts, plus any other marketing and communications support where required.

**Key Responsibilities**

Marketing & Communications

Create engaging video content across a variety of genres, including but not limited to player and coach interviews, match highlights, partner activations, short form social content, community engagement etc.

Assist with the clubs official press conferences

Film official club interviews

Publish finished and approved content on the clubs communication channels

Provide graphic design support where required

Contribute enthusiastically to content ideation sessions

Understand and be able to identify current social media trends

Take ownership of the video output of the club across all channels

Matchday

Capture engaging matchday footage to capture the essence of the event for use in future videos

Film interviews/press conferences from matchday

Edit matchday content for club communication channels

Support with social media output and experience by contributing copy, video and live stream content on a matchday

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Essential_

Demonstrable experience in shooting, editing and producing video content

Understanding of social media channels
- Preferred_

Experience of working in a sports environment

Knowledge of rugby league

BA in Film Production, Media Technology, Digital Marketing or similar

**Training, Skills and Knowledge**
- Essential_

Capable in using video editing software including Adobe Premier Pro

Capable in using image editing software including Photoshop

Capable in the use of audio-visual hardware

Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
- Preferred_

Fully qualified driving license

**Personal Qualities**
- Essential_

Very good attention to detail

Excellent time management and prioritisation skills

Proactive and a ‘self-starter’

Accomplished multi-tasker

Works well as part of a team
- Preferred_

Desire to develop a career in the sports industry

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
