**Key Accountabilities**:
Responsible for process engineering and industrialisation activities within the Ink Manufacturing team.
- Be a contact in technology transfer to support our licensees’ needs including travel and on-site support.
- Analyze operational metrics, inline process performance, as well as end of line product performance, and define reaction plans.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in all aspects of inks production.
- Develop and implement advanced quality control processes to reduce overall process efficiencies.
- Propose equipment or processes required to improve understanding and performance
- Continuously improve and streamline in house production to make the processes as efficient and green as possible.
- Support standard production by ensuring adequate SOPs are in place, and effective maintenance and servicing schedules are followed.
- Support 8D quality issues from across the business where materials properties are relevant or helpful to understand failures.
- Analyse operational metrics, inline process performance, as well as end of line product performance, and define reaction plans.
- Qualify and release new manufacturing equipment to production.
- Develop and sustain processes, operating procedures, and related documentation.
- Work in cross-functional teams with Quality, Energy Materials, and Manufacturing teams to develop manufacturing procedures for new generations of technology.
- Complete validation requirements to complete process changes under QMS.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required**:

- MSc or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry preferred.
- Problem solving methodology applied to process engineering and chemical processes.
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to analyse, model and interpret data
- Process scale up and validation strategies
- Risk, Cost, and Benefit analysis
- Ability to plan work and meet deadlines

**Preferred Experience**:

- Experience in manufacturing environments, with hands-on process engineering, manufacturing engineering, and sustaining experience, both in a process development group and in a mass production environment would be highly advantageous.
- Experience in process scale up from lab/pilot to industrial scale
- Experience in developing new process chains as well as optimization of existing processes in development with depth in data analysis associated with SPC, DOE, pFMEA, fishbone analysis. Working knowledge of a wide suite of data analysis software (MiniTab,Excel VBA macros, MatLab) is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to understand interaction of hardware and process as they affect the final product.
- Exposure to both thin film and thick film processing, including subsequent high temperature operations and knowledge of electrochemistry.
- Demonstrated track record of solving manufacturing yield problems.
