Bartlett Contractors is highly successful and well-established family owned Agricultural and Construction business based near Sturminster Newton, North Dorset.
The role will provide support to the Directors and Accounts Manager in the day to day running of the busy Admin and Finance office.
This post will suit someone who has varied administrative and accounting experience. It is preferable that you have knowledge and experience in a construction and/or agricultural contracting setting, although not essential.
You will be part of a small team. Key responsibilities will include providing admin support on contracts & estimates, staff training, compliance specific to the industry, such as ISO and Health & safety. In addition, you will support the accounting processes such as timesheet allocation, purchase procedures, credit control. You will interact with customers, suppliers, employees and other stakeholders in person on the phone and electronically.
The requisite specific training will be provided in all aspects where gaps in knowledge arise; whether industry, process or IT.
