The IPLDP+ is a well-established programme of initial learning, which takes two years to complete. You will undertake a period of initial learning at our training school, before moving to your designated policing area for tutoring and further operational coaching.

You are required to hold a Full UK Manual driving licence.

**Police Barred and Advisory Lists**

Individuals placed on the Police Barred and Advisory lists will not be considered for employment by the police for a minimum of 5 years from the date of listing in the case of gross misconduct, or 3 years from the date of listing in the case of poor performance.
