NHS 24 is a patient-focused service providing the people of Scotland with triage, advice, guidance, referral and information on health and healthcare services

**_ Our Regional Centres are located at Hillington, Cardonald, Clydebank, South Queensferry, Dundee and Aberdeen. This role can be based in our Dundee centre. More details and centre addresses can be found within the job pack._**

**_ The Role.._**

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Service, the post holder is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support across the North Contact Centre (NCC) and Scottish Emergency Dental Service (SEDS).

Supporting teams who provide a wide variety of services, from six centres across the North of Scotland, including the islands and supporting the dental service, which provides access to out of hours dental assessment.

This role is mainly Monday to Friday during office hours.

**_ Key Responsibilities:_**
- Provide administration for various communication tools and activities
- Organise meetings, producing agendas, paper circulation, room bookings
- Producing formal meeting minutes to be circulated to senior management
- Managing the diary for Head of Clinical Services
- Monitoring Inbox and ensuring all actions are highlighted for completion
- Assist in the production of reports and circulating to appropriate colleagues
- Assist with projects, collating relevant information and undertaking associated administrative tasks
- Provide administrative support for finance including purchase orders, accommodation requests, expenses processing
- Identify process gaps and propose changes to policies and working practises

**_ Successful applicant:_**
- Educated to HNC level or equivalent
- Previous experience in an administration or co-ordination role within a large organisation
- Experience of recording meeting minutes
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised approach
- Ability to work on own initiative and without close supervision
- Excellent attention to detail
- Adopt a proactive can-do approach

NHS 24 offers a complete benefits package, with a permanent contract on Band 3 (£25,468 - £27,486*)
- Placement on salary scale is dependent on confirmation of previous relevant NHS service.
