**About our Opportunity**:
**Core Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the international activities of the wider group
- Establish and build an effective programme, delivering value to Glass Futures, our members, and partners
- Lead relationships with external members and partners across UK, USA and India
- Build understanding of government support initiatives and funding programmes across India and USA
- Ensuring delivery plan and alignment to Glass Future objectives are carried out
- Provide support with bid funding or demonstrations
- Produce regular, effective reports and ensure robust governance processes are in place
- Track financial costs of projects
- Use Glass Future internal resources to build awareness of international activities with UK entities

**Person Specification**:

- Practical experience of establishing, driving, and delivering innovation programmes and portfolio’s
- Ability to influence people with effective leadership and management qualities
- Sound negotiation and interpersonal skills at various stakeholder levels
- Confident developing and maintaining effective relationships and adapting to working with in different cultures
- Excellent organisational skills and competent at leading cross functional teams
- Comfortable working with an agile environment and able to reassess and adapt plans efficiently
- Good presentation skills, with the ability to present technical and economic findings to a wide audience

**Desirable Skills/Qualifications**:

- Certificate in Project Management, e.g. Prince 2 / Lean Six Sigma, AMP) or equivalent Project Management experience
- Intermediate/advanced level experience with Microsoft Office

**Salary**:
£40-50k depending on experience

**Working Hours**:
Full time, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours - we work flexibly within our core hours of 8am-4pm to support essential work life balance. There will also be a requirement to occasionally adjust working hours in order to attend virtual meetings with organisations in India or the USA accordingly.

**Location**:
This is a hybrid-based role and involves travel (national and international) and to our Centre of Excellence site in St Helens. It is expected that the role is likely to involve between 6-12 international trips per year.

**Holidays**:
25 days holiday plus bank holidays (FTE), pro rata may apply. Plus, additional service days.
