**A&P NORTH EAST - Executive Assistant**

We're looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director and our local Senior Management Team at A&P North East to offer executive-quality support

Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll organise the team, ensure that schedules are efficient keeping projects on track through managing calendars, organising travel plans, preparing reports, assisting in meetings, preparing internal and external comms

**So what will you do as an Executive Assistant at A&P?**
- You'll be the general point of contact for the MD and will organise the Senior Management team with sensitivity and discretion
- As the gatekeeper you'll ensure that calls, meeting and incoming information are all relevant and timely
- You'll manage the Managing Directors calendar, optimising the schedule though both organising and reorganising plans with internal and external stakeholders depending on business needs
- When the MD attends meetings, you'll take and share Minutes
- You'll be arranging meetings and events including all travel and accommodation
- You'll prepare for and welcome visitors ensuring that all hospitality requirements are in place
- When appropriate you'll prepare and respond to calls and e mails on behalf of the MD
- You'll ensure that papers and reports required of the MD and Senior Management team are delivered at the right time on the right format including sending reminders, compiling draft reports and finalising reports and presentations
- At times where HR, Finance and the Commercial teams look for additional admin support, you'll provide that

**And what are we looking for?**
- The role requires a very varied set of skills, both technical with the likes of the Microsoft office suite and soft skills, from being able to be very precise and attentive to detail while multitasking, being creative with solutions for problems and remaining calm on the surface
- We're looking for a proactive listener, who can interpret the need for actions and then follow up on them
- Flexibility. As the business and executive needs tend to change from day to day, there is no real routine for an Executive Assistant. The working schedule is generally 0800 to 1600hrs Monday to Friday and is always open to change, so flexibility is important to the job
