We are looking for an experienced and qualified or part qualified Finance Supervisor, to join our friendly team, on a full time basis. You will have a 'can do' attitude, be a problem solver and be able to perform all accounts related functions within the business.

**Key Duties**:

- Full ownership of the business accounting functions, with the support of our accounting firm, when required.
- Use and have an good working knowledge of Xero would be an advantage and have a excellent knowledge of excel is essential
- Run and prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Running monthly payroll and ensuring associated PAYE, pension and holiday reporting is up-to-date
- Produce cash flow forecasts and implement monthly management accounts
- Produce monthly income forecasts
- Monthly Reconcilliation of bank transactions
- Preparing year end and assisting external Accountant with year-end queries
- Rasing invoices and paying suppliers
- Reconcilling booking commissions and making payments
- Managing all aspects of purchase & sales invoice processing
- Creating and monitoring company spending limits and procedures
- Reviewing and overseeing of purchase accounts for property maintenance and utility supply to ensure optimum pricing in our supply chain
- Preparation of budgets and prepare various analytical reports to help the Directors and Management in their decision making process
- Being able to adapt to changing priorities and be willing to assist with other financial tasks as the arise.
- Monitoring our systems to ensure finacial data is being accuratley recorded and reported

MY Getaways is the Brighton & Hoves leading serviced accommodation/holiday let’s provider and we welcome over 25,000 guests to the City every year. Our office is based in Portslade at the bottom of Boundary Road on the seafront, 10 minutes walk from Portslade train station.

The business is growing at an incredible rate and we would like someone who wants to grow with us, therefore being ambitious and having a “can do” attitude will really help in this role.

**Who Are you?**

You will have at least 3 years of work experience in finance. You will be the kind of person who is able to think on their feet and work to tight deadlines. You will understand how to prioritise tasks as they come along and be proactive with potential reactive issues as you spot them, whilst carrying out your normal routine.

Ideally (but not essential) you would have experience in B&B's, hotels or serviced apartments before and have an understanding of the TOMS vat scheme, however full training and extended handover will be given by our existing bookkeeper on our systems, TOMS and ways of working.

**Qualififcations**

Either already qualified or working towards accountancy qualifications, ACA, ACCA, CIMA

**Can you Drive?**

Not essential, but useful.

**What will my working week look like?**

You will work 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday.

**Pay and benefits**

Starting salary £28,000 to £30,000 per year payable monthly, annual company performance based bonus scheme, company pension, friends and family discounts, property referral bonus scheme and 28 days holiday per year (including days in lieu for bank holidays).

Public and bank holidays are normal working days for us (excl. Xmas day), whilst you can take these days off, you will use your holiday entitlement to do so.
