About the role
**An exciting opportunity has arisen at Magor RDC for a Health & Safety Administrator.**

**Shifts Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm**
- The maintenance of health and safety records and training databases both electronically and paper-based
- Inducting canteen staff
- Managing and updating health and safety trackers
- Preparing statistical information for meetings, and presentations
- Attending health & safety meetings and accident committees for the purpose of recording and producing the minutes and next steps
- General administration duties including photocopying, filing, meeting and audit preparations
- Conducting health and safety audits/checks/first aid stock replenishment physical, visual and electronically, recording findings
- Conducting/assisting with workplace, and environmental inspections across the site
- Dealing with confidential information and complying with data protection.

You will need
- Strong administrative background
- Must be PC literate including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to prioritise workload as well as working to tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Must have a professional approach with a strong work ethic
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation would be advantageous
- Health and Safety qualifications would be advantageous
