**About You** - You should be a graduate who has a relevant degree in geography, ecology, environmental science, science, engineering, or communications, who has enthusiasm, energy, and a passion to work on carbon reduction and climate adaptation and resilience, and has a strong interest in climate adaptation and/or carbon reduction. You should have enthusiasm for working with others, networking and proactively developing strong working relationships with others, a strong interest in all forms of communication (social media, websites, events etc), and be flexible and proactive with the ability to deal with changing priorities and identify better ways of working. You should be organised, self-motivated, have the ability to plan, prioritise, have strong communication skills, and the ability to understand and able to explain technical information clearly for a range of audiences in members of the public and community groups. You should have attention to detail, have good IT and interpersonal skills, the ability to work sensitively with a wide range of people from all sectors with differing perspectives and opinions, the ability to ability to work in a team environment and independently, and have the ability to communicate technical ideas in innovative ways to a wide audience. You should also have some communication experience, for example: using social media or other comms channels (video etc), writing newsletters, articles, creating or updating content for a website. You should also have a commitment to equal opportunities, be based in Devon or the surrounding area or a willingness to relocate upon receiving an offer, and have the ability to travel to work sites.
