Project Coordinator

Our client a successful company based in fantastic offices in Eccles are seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team. The main responsibilities of this Project Coordinator role will include managing hardware procurement, coordinating customer projects and collaborating closely with the Technical Manager and project engineers / assistant technical manager to deliver exceptional results. **Job Role**:
The main duties of this Project Coordinator role will include:
- Responsible for ordering audio-visual and video conferencing hardware and equipment based on project requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of hardware and manage stock levels to meet project timelines.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and obtain competitive pricing
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, addressing their inquiries and providing regular updates on project progress.
- Develop project plans, including milestones, timelines, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage project schedules and deliverables to meet agreed-upon deadlines and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the technical manager and project engineers/assistant technical manager to ensure seamless project integration and alignment.
- Assist in allocating resources effectively and ensure that team members have the required tools and equipment for successful project execution.
- Facilitate communication between different teams involved in the project, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and customer communications.
- Create and update project documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping and smooth handovers between team members.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards.
- Monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively.
- Collaborate with the project team to handle unexpected issues promptly and effectively.

**Skills Required**:
The skills and experience required for this Project Coordinator role will include:
- Proven experience in project coordination or project management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and project team members.
- Familiarity with audio-visual and video conferencing equipment, technologies, and industry trends is a bonus.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Word).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results within project deadlines.

**Salary**: up to £28,000 per annum
