Scope of the Role:

- To support, and work alongside, the production and warehouse teams in order to ensure all products are of optimum quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct process audits within relevant units
- Issue all 1st off / last off's in relevant units, utilising all Quality based software
- Patrol inspections, assessing product quality, process set-up, job packs, labelling etc.
- Active participation in the containment process
- Provide initial containment response on out of office hours customer issues
- Maintenance of Quality Alerts within relevant units.
- Education of unit members in respect of product Quality issues
- Issue and communicate of disposition of product within all units
- Provide support and assistance to all relevant departments on launch, improvement projects.
- Participation in investigation and resolution of internal and external issues
- Provide support and assistance to the dimensional team on measurement studies and calibration activities
- Master Sample Room maintenance for relevant units
- Daily reporting, record filing and administration duties
- Adherence to the companies EIMS / GDS system with regards to site specific procedures and forms

Person Specification:

- Numerate & Literate to minimum O level / GCSE "C" equivalent
- Experience of working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment within a Quality based function (preferably within an automotive/FMCG manufacturing environment).
- Influencing and persuasive style with a "can do" attitude with propensity to problem solve.
- Ability to manager time effectively and prioritise tasks on shift.
- Self-motivated and work well under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable
- Analytical with good problem-solving skills (preferably gauge knowledge and DTI use)
- Excellent communication skills at all levels and a team player
- Computer literate including MS Office packages.
