This role caters to the expansion of our Strategic Centre of Excellence which sits at the heart of our relationship with LVMH. Reporting to the Head of Strategy, as part of the team you will work in harmony with two other Strategy Directors to lead thinkingfor some of the worlds most desirable and iconic brands. Whilst we have a very collaborative approach, you are expected to work independently and lead the strategy for a select group of Maisons, including retail.
This role will see you developing luxury guidelines, new planning approaches and frameworks, delivering thought leadership that will shape the future of luxury communications and guiding the output of local strategy and planning teams to ensure we are drivingdesirability and value for LVMH Maisons.
**Responsibilities**:
**LVMH Media**
- A key contact for LVMH Media for topics relating to the future of media and communications.
- Work with LVMH Media to identify innovation, new approaches and process that will future proof Maison strategy.
- Create POV’s on key marketing and communications topics as they relate to Luxury. For example the future of print partnerships, The Metaverse and Globalisation.
**Maison HQs**
- Build strong client relationships with key Maisons to understand their needs and requirements as they pertain to strategy.
- Lead global media strategy recommendations such as Global Media Principles, Sufficiency Guidelines, Media Reviews, Roadmaps.
- Lead Maison projects in areas that sit outside day to day campaign planning, such as audience strategy.
- Lead the creation of QBRs and PCA’s for centralised campaigns.
- Proactively identify new solutions and help with educating the clients.
- Create competitive reviews which include deep insights and analysis of how other luxury brands are operating.
- Display critical thinking and challenge internal and external outputs to ensure we are always moving forward.
**Qualifications**
An open minded and free thinking media strategist with global and/or local experience, who has previously led campaigns for luxury advertisers/relevant retailers and has a track record of delivering innovative and creative communications solutions.
It is important that you have a desire to work on a luxury brand and that you understand how luxury consumers think, feel and behave in relation to products and services.
Following on from this you also need to be passionate about tackling the challenges that face brands in the modern marketing landscape. With a deep understanding of how the changing media landscape can enable brands to engage with consumers and influencetheir behaviour you will have the ability to articulate new concepts and topics in a way that inspires and educates, but also translates to tangible activation.
You will enjoy working with a wide range with data and have very strong attention to detail. As a strong team player who is keen to learn and results-driven, you will come into this role ready to take responsibility for driving the effective implementationof activity within the account and be eager to share your knowledge with the wider team.
**Key requirements**:
- Great client management with clear communication skills.
- Used to dealing with senior clients who are experts in branding media.
- Ability to look and think big picture, but also deep dive into granular detail when needed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial thinker. You will constantly be thinking and developing new approaches and ideas to drive the Maisons forward and will not be happy with the status quo.
- Comfortable with ambiguity. In an increasingly complex world where things are no longer always black and white you will be comfortable with shades of grey.
- Self-starter - you will have the energy to kick start projects yourself and define the path for the team.
- Excellent presentation skills and an ability to present complex topics in a clear and concise manner to those in non-expert roles.
- Effective and persuasive communication skills to align client and agency teams.
- Hands-on approach to gain and align a deep understanding of LVMH process and philosophy.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills, with an aptitude for creating standout presentations that fit with Luxury codes.
- Advanced XLS skills.
- Strong team player who is keen to learn and upskill others in the team.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Good understanding and experience in managing ROI focused campaigns.
- Keen attention to detail and an analytical approach to achieving objectives.
- French speaking is desirable but not a must.
