Our Client is a UK Manufacturer and Supplier of Composite/Fiberglass Tooling and Products based in Bramley, Leeds. Due to a solid pipeline of work, they are always on the lookout for hardworking Production/Warehouse Operatives, Finishers, and Laminators who are reliable, work well as part of a team and have a high quality of work.

As a Finisher your job will be to:

- Trim excess materials from moulds, and finish products using hand tools
- Repair or modify damaged or defective glass-fiber parts; checking for surface defects, and repairing same
- Laminating specific products
- Packing finished components
- Preparing moulds for production

As a Laminator, you will be laminating layers of fiberglass on moulds (by hand) to form a wide range of products.

This also involves:

- Spraying chopped fiberglass, resins, and catalysts onto prepared moulds or dies using pneumatic spray guns with chopper attachment.
- Selecting fiberglass mats, cloth, and wood-bracing materials as required by projects being made
- Forming layers of saturated fiberglass into place on moulds, using brushes or rollers, and smoothing out wrinkles and air bubbles with the same tools
- Bonding wood reinforcing strips to products, using resin-saturated fiberglass

They are looking for people who:

- Have experience working in a hands-on job, potentially in a trades role such as joinery, or even in a similar company to theirs
- Be aware and respectful of health and safety on site
- Have a hard-working attitude and are reliable
- Able to work as part of a team
- High standard of work
