Manufacturing Lead - Full Time - Leeds, United Kingdom

**Exciting Opportunity for a Highly Skilled Manufacturing Lead**

Are you ready to take the helm and lead a large and dynamic manufacturing team towards excellence? We are seeking an exceptional production engineering to spearhead our operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and financial accountability while driving continuous improvement.

As our **Manufacturing Lead**, you will support, lead, and manage manufacturing team with finesse, whilst maintaining workshop financial controls and KPIs while upholding stringent ESH standards. We are seeking an experienced engineering manager to take on this key role in our organisation.

**Your main tasks and responsibilities**:
**Achieve Operational Excellence**: Take accountability for meeting core operational KPIs, driving efficiency and productivity to new heights
**Compliance Management**: Ensure full compliance with all relevant departmental procedures and industry regulations, maintaining the highest standards of quality and accreditation
**Financial Oversight**: Take charge of the departmental cost center budget, exercising sound financial judgment to optimize resource allocation
**Continuous Improvement Champion**: Lead manufacturing improvements to enhance cost, delivery, quality, and product excellence, fostering a culture of innovation
**Resource Allocation and Management**:Allocate resources effectively to meet production schedules while ensuring adequate departmental coverage, including managing temporary labour recruitment during peak workloads

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- HNC or equivalent in engineering or science, or relevant experience within the related industry
- Demonstrated drive and motivation to consistently achieve goals and drive success
- Ability to influence and persuade others to support initiatives and embrace change
- Proven staff leadership and management skills to inspire and guide team members towards shared objectives
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage tasks, projects, and resources efficiently
- Working knowledge of Lean principles to drive efficiency and continuous improvement
