Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing have a fantastic opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a specialist manufacturing business in Leeds who are further strengthening their technical department at a senior level.
As a key Manufacturing Engineer on site, you will provide technical expertise for all things manufacturing/production engineering including continuous improvement initiatives, Yield and capacity improvement, standardising processes, optimising performance,documentation and reducing costs.
The Manufacturing Engineers duties and responsibilities will include:

- Identifying and Implementing new Technologies, including Specification of requirements, Capex justification, planning and implementation
- Drive improvements on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through utilising data analysis and root cause investigation/problem solving techniques
- Providing Technical support for the day to day running of the Manufacturing facility
- Ensure that process routings are routinely checked and updated to reflect new and revised processes
- Support NPI, production documentation and new initiatives throughout the year
- Facilitating Kaizen and Lean events across the site
- Delivering technical engineering solutions to tight deadlines
- Ensuring all Engineering activities are in line with Quality compliance
- Supporting and developing the wider production/manufacturing engineering team
- Reviewing tooling, jigs and fixtures to constantly improve performance and minimise waste, change over times, etc.
We are very keen to speak to you if you have the following skills and experience:

- A degree, HND/HNC in a relevant engineering field (desirable)
- A strong hands on background within a technical engineering role
- Experience within highly regulated manufacturing would be beneficial
- Evidence of continuous improvement/lean initiatives and/or projects leading to improved efficiency, capacity or cost savings (Six Sigma / Lean qualifications would be beneficial)
