**Recovery Coordinator**

**Location**: Harlow

**Salary**: £22,000 per annum

Our client is a charity with over 50 years’ experience and a leading provider of drug and alcohol treatment.

The charity work with local authorities, other charities and service providers across the country to deliver innovative programmes and projects that change lives for the better, setting people on the path to health and emotional wellbeing.
They provide a diverse range of services, their expertise in psychosocial treatment and support is the common thread that runs through everything they do. People need psychological interventions, social support, meaningful use of time, sense of purpose anda place of safety to sustain their recovery. At their core, the organisation support people, families and communities to recover from drug and alcohol dependency.
The charity are now seeking a Recovery worker to join the Full Circle team in Essex (Harlow area) on a full time permanent basis.

**The Role**

Full Circle is seeking an experienced practitioner to undertake a recovery coordinator role within Essex (working primarily in the Harlow area). You will be part of a wider team who work with Offenders with Complex and Additional Needs across the Countyof Essex in the community.

The charity are looking for individuals with experience of working within the substance misuse sector or health care profession to fulfil a range of tasks from case management to care navigation, advocacy and multi-agency working. You will need to be passionateabout recovery and working with clients to support, motivate and manage them to access a wide variety of services. You must have good communication skills and an ability to work as part of a team as well as being able to use you own initiative when requiredand to manage your time independently.

**About You**

To join them as a Recovery Worker, you will need:

- Relevant experience of working in the field of problematic substance use, mental health or another comparable field
- Evidence of effective partnership working and the ability to network for the benefit of the client and service
- Evidence of managing a busy caseload and excellent organisational skills
- To be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Word and be familiar with relevant database management systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience of creating person-centred care plans and/or timetables based on identified needs would be advantageous, as would experience of partnership working, liaising with community and CJS services and developing reintegration and resettlement plans.
A S/NVQ 3 in Care (DANOS-accredited) or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards an agreed number of modules within your probationary period would also be desirable.
