**Functional Responsibilities/Key Tasks**
- Control of passengers and vehicles embarking and disembarking from vessels by giving clear and concise direction to all.
- Car marshalling duties.
- Sale and validation of passenger and vehicle tickets.
- Emergency requirements 'out-of-hours'.
- Liaising with customers, dealing with enquiries and offering assistance.
- Recording information such as temperatures checks and loose freight details.
- Use of handheld 2-way radios.
- Receipt of goods including food handling & carrying out deliveries via temperature-controlled company vehicles.
- Any other duties required by the Port Manager.

**Skills and Experience**
- Good understanding of the CalMac services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You must be customer focused, have a clear understanding of the customer interface, and have a proactive approach to customer care.
- You are expected to have a flexible approach to working, as shift and weekend work will be involved.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work with initiative as a self-starter, without supervision.
- Willingness to be a team player.

**Salary**: £13.01 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

- Isle of Skye, IV51 9XX (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Isle of Skye, IV51 9XX: Relocate before starting work (required)
