For over 100 years, we have been providing care for ex-servicemen and women of varying ages and needs, from those who served in WW2 to those who more recently served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Hearing our veterans explain the things they have experienced makes you realise quite how extraordinary they are. It is important for us to remember their stories and to remember that after their service has finished, Broughton House is where they call home.

Our multi-disciplinary and enthusiastic team provide a variety of care for our veterans including holistic services, dementia care, general nursing and residential needs on one recently rebuilt state-of-the-art site in Salford, Greater Manchester.

Our unique approach is an inspiring vision to enable and empower the armed forces community to live with dignity and independence in ‘life after service’.

We are seeking a customer service advisor to provide exceptional customer-focused telephone and front of house reception service on a fixed term contract for 3 months starting in March 2023.

**About the role**
- Hours - 36½ per week (8:00 - 18:00) plus 30 minutes unpaid break. You will also be working on alternate weekends.
- Direct and coordinate the delivery of goods, parcels and mail.
- To ensure the reception and front of house areas are maintained to a high standard to create a positive first impression of the charity, care home and hub.
- Provide administrative support to catering, housekeeping and welfare teams as required including producing of daily menus, notification of events etc.
- To ensure Broughton House’s image and reputation is projected in line with its core values.
- Maintain a smart appearance and a professional appearance and manner at all times.

**About you**
- Previous working experience working as a receptionist and/or front of house administration would be advantageous.
- Good standard of general education including literacy and numeracy.
- Personable and professional presentation.
- Exceptional receptionist and communication skills and etiquette.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Able to work under pressure, remain calm and adaptable.
- Keen to develop.
