Senior Support Worker

We are looking for a confident** Senior Support Worker** with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
You’ll be working **42 hours a week**, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at **St Williams.**
This is a 12 bed Neuropsychiatric service offering care and treatment to those affected by acquired brain injuries. It is a safe and secure place to aid recovery as well as offering those diagnosed with a progressive neurological disease, like Huntington’s Disease, a caring and longer term placement to support and help manage the progression of their symptoms.
Our focus is to create a therapeutic rich environment which engages our service users and offers them the opportunity to minimise their challenging behaviour and maximise their independence.

Your day-to-day
Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely
Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
Safeguard
Maintain a safe & clean environment for all

Preferably a clean driving license for 2 years or more, but not essential
