Female Disability Support Worker

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with autism/learning disabilities helping them lead fulfilling lives. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
**Duties**:
- Communicate effectively with individuals with disabilities, their families, and other support staff
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide assistance with daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication reminders
- Support individuals in participating in community activities and social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
**Requirements**:
- Experience in providing care and support to individuals with autism/learning disabilities is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits or community outings
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to individual needs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
Pay: £12.00 per hour
