**P6 Project Planner**

At STORY our Central workbank is varied and includes rail bridge refurbishment and renewal, station and platform works, earthworks and civil engineering in the railway environment. Projects can range from vegetation management through to complex multi-disciplinary enhancements incorporating a wide range of our supply chain partners.

We have an exciting opportunity for a P6 Project Planner to join our talented team, based out of our Birmingham office - and there has never been a better time to join

**The role.**

As P6 Project Planner you will be an integral part of our project team. You will enable delivery of successful projects by creating robust design and build programmes, managing change, and carrying out periodic updates. You will use your knowledge and experience to proactively identify schedule issues and develop mitigation plans with the project and client teams. As a key player you will contribute to the wider planning team for resource forecasting across the STORY business.

**About you.**

You will:

- be proficient and competent in using P6 software
- have working knowledge of rail infrastructure governance and projects in civil engineering or other discipline
- able to manage a high volume of work efficiently
- hold or work towards gaining Project Management skills (APM/PRINCE2)
- be ambitious and driven to develop your career and the STORY business
- always strive to be pro-active and have a solution focussed approach
- hold an HNC engineering qualification or equivalent (desirable)
