The Field Service Engineer works closely with the commercial team, this position provides technical pre
- and post-sale support for the integration of Pall technologies into customer processes.

This position is part of the Field Technical Service Team and will be located remote with travel throughout the UK. Predominantly travel will be to Portsmouth, Plymouth, Birkenhead, Scotland and Portland.

Main Duties:
- Responsible for testing, servicing, and commissioning Pall marine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation. Responsible for troubleshooting PLC and HMI software based on established designs.- Responsible for implementing and documenting system modifications under the direction of the engineering design team.- Responsible for developing and implementing written service and/or test procedures and risk assessments.- Responsible for documenting system modifications and conveying modification details back to Project Engineering through the correct Change Control procedures.- Responsible for training customer personnel in the operation of the Pall System.- Assignments will involve travel to specified sites (both domestic and international) to perform service activities. Travel schedules will be arranged as directed by the line manager and following Pall's Global Travel Policy. Travel may take place on evenings or weekends as required to meet the customer's needs.- Responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with customers. While performing service, the FS must make sound technical decisions to meet customer requirements while maintaining Pall's commercial interests. Independently resolves adverse situations constructively.- Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of Service Reports, Time Tracking, Site Visit Reports, Expense Reports, and other business-related documents.- Responsible for performing all services in compliance with applicable Pall, site, and industrial safety practices.- Responsible for training Customers, Pall or Pall Distributors in the correct use and maintenance procedures for Pall's products, including Service Manuals.- Other reasonable duties as required by changes to Pall procedures or industrial markets.- Responsible for generating pre-visit documentation for gaining access to site.

Essential Education/Qualification:
- Bachelors (ideally in a technical or engineering discipline) or Military equivalent or equivalent technical education/experience- Engineering experience in the Marine Industry (preferred) or Industrial SectorIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills- Experience with servicing/troubleshooting automated water systems is helpful
